The Centro Escolar Mexico Junior College Working Scholarship Program is a student’s needs program intended to help alleviate 10 highly motivated junior students who are experiencing economic hardships, family issues and are unable to pay their school fees for the entire year in order to obtain an Associate’s Degree. Students on the Working Scholarship Program are expected to make a commitment of service by carrying out specific duties at the institution meeting all requirements. CEMJC Sports Scholar Program brings physical and mental fitness to the students involved, being involved in sports activities benefits a student in many ways. It provides physical strength and increases mental power. Sports will develop student’s social skills by interacting with opponents as well as their teammates. It improves a student’s ability to work in a team giving him/her an exposure to the team culture, which will be beneficial in their professional life. Sports are of importance to students as it teaches punctuality, patience, discipline, teamwork and dedication. Playing sports help students in building and improving their confidence level. Students can be more active and healthy in sports. It teaches students to go ahead in life by removing all the weaknesses. It makes students bold and gives them the feeling of happiness by reducing the occurrence of anxiety and anger. It makes students physically fit and especially mentally prepared so as to easily deal with all kinds of life problems. The Centro Escolar Mexico Junior College Feeding Program is a Student Academic/Socio-Economic Needs Program whose main objective is intended to alleviate 10 highly motivated students who are experiencing economic hardships and are unable to access food whilst they are at school. At the same time students on the feeding program are expected to make a commitment of service by carrying out specific duties at school meeting the requirements and making the program self sustainable.
